About Action Door
About Action Door by Modern Day Garage
Action Door was founded in Elyria in 1954, and the business has operated from the same location on Lorain Boulevard ever since. In 2026, Action Door joined Modern Day Garage, a locally owned group of door companies, keeping the same team and greater technician capacity and inventory behind them.
We handle residential garage doors and openers, entry, patio, and storm doors, and commercial overhead doors and loading dock equipment across Northeast Ohio. We stock parts locally, which is why most repairs are finished on the first visit.
