Genie Opener Installation and Repair – Elyria
Action Door is an authorized Genie dealer. We install, service and repair Genie garage door openers throughout Elyria and Lorain County, and supply Genie parts, boards and warranty service directly.
What We Do with Genie Units
- New installation – chain, belt and screw drive
- Gear and sprocket kits on units that run but will not move the door
- Logic board and capacitor replacement
- Safety sensor alignment and replacement
- Intellicode remotes, keypads and receivers, including older models
- Reprogramming following a board or remote change
Genie Remotes & Intellicode Technology
Genie has produced several generations of remote technology and compatibility between them is not always straightforward. Provide the model number from the motor housing and we will confirm the correct remote before purchase.
Repair or Replace Your Genie Garage Door Opener
Where the motor is sound and parts remain available, repair typically costs around a third of a replacement unit. We will advise which applies following diagnosis.
